Quick Setup Guide: Get your Apollo MSR-1 up and running in just a few steps:

  • Power Up: Plug the sensor into a quality 5V power brick. Most phone chargers will work, but it’s recommended to avoid cheap power bricks, as they can cause the device to restart or become unavailable.
  • Connect to Hotspot: Open the WiFi settings on your phone or PC and connect to “Apollo MSR-1 Hotspot.” The network may take a moment to appear.
  • Access the Dashboard: A dashboard should open automatically. If it doesn’t, go to http://192.168.4.1 in your web browser.
  • Configure WiFi: Select your preferred WiFi network and enter the password. Once connected, the dashboard will close automatically.
  • Next Steps: After connecting to WiFi, refer to the “Connecting Sensor To Home Assistant” section on the Apollo Automation website and wiki for further instructions.
